Meet Wispa The Whippet!

Wispa is a very lazy dog, most of the time he just snuggles up under the duvet with his mum and dad. But since he is a whippet, that means he needs a good run and boy do whippets run fast!

Anything is game with a whippet, their instincts are to chase anything that moves, Wispa has caught the odd squirrel and rabbit on his walks! It’s no surprise since he can run up to 40mph and whippets are the world’s fastest accelerating dogs!

Once he is done with his walks he likes vegetate in the comfiest places around the house. He likes company so will never be far from his loved ones.

Whippets have a tendency to get stressed when members of the pack leave for school or work, and Wispa is no different. They will often stare at the door once someone has disappeared in the hope that they will enter straight away.

After a long while, they get the point and proceed to the duvets for relaxation. They can sleep or dose for a whopping 20 hours a day!
